Structure

The Pride Collective is run off the shared efforts of staff, work study students, volunteers, and our collective members. We operate through collective decision making, attend our next Collective Meeting to have your voice heard!

Staff and Paid Positions.

The Pride Collective has two staff members, the Coordinator and Communications Officer. They are hired by the UVSS and manage the day-to-day operations of the Collective. Other paid positions include work study positions which are paid for by UVic. Work study students may be hired for specific projects or tasks.

Volunteers

Volunteers with the Pride Collective can take many forms! Volunteers can facilitate Community Circles or hold positions on our council. Volunteers can also be Pride regulars who help out with occasional tasks such as tabling or supporting Pride events! We strongly appreciate the time and dedication our volunteers have put into the Pride Collective!

Collective Members

Collective members make up the base of the Pride Collective and includes all UVic students who identify as Queer and/or Trans! The collective meets regularly to discuss to give direction to staff and guide the overall operations of Pride. Become an active collective member by attending our next Collective Meeting!
