The Pride Collective runs of the participation of students, community members, volunteers, and staff! How you get involved is up to you, you can simply attend meeting and events, be a lounge regular, or take a more active role through volunteers + council positions or apply for staff roles. The best starting point would be to attend our monthly collective meetings to have your voice heard!
Apply for Work Study Positions!
Every year Pride hires Work Study positions. To be hired for Work Study you must first apply to the Work Study program at UVic. Positions will not be posted until September 3rd, 2025.

- Pride Librarian.
- The Pride Librarian will be responsible for overseeing the collection and management of our Queer Lending Library. The Pride Librarian will also coordinate events corresponding to the Queer Lending Library and support our partnership with Books To Prisoners.

- Pride Resource Coordinator.
- The Pride Resource Coordinator will assist in maintaining our physical and online resources. Specifically, this year the Resource Coordinator will be tasked with helping to develop Trans specific mental health resources.

- Pride Communications Assistant.
- The Pride Communications Assistant will work alongside the Pride Communications Officer to support our communications with the collective and overall campus community. This may include things like making promotional materials such as posters, stickers, buttons, and/or other tasks agreed to upon the candidate, the Communications Officer, and the Office Coordinator.
